In our last chat we started talking about using routines to help build language skills. We highlighted that routines provide great meaningful, predictable, functional, repetitive contexts that allow children to learn language throughout the day. We also provided some tips for getting started with routines at home.
From the feedback which we received following our chat, most people were interested in learning specific ways to work on these routines at home. We listened! and decided to do an interactive chat this week, which will allow you to work live with us to brainstorm a routines based session.
